The league was founded in 2019 with the goal of making a fun basketball tournament. It has grown in to so much more. The tournament system has now been changed into a league based system, with a regular season, games, league standings, playoffs and much more. But we will never forget our roots or where we came from. The League began playing at Sheldrake Park, and while that is no longer the case, and the league is no longer a tournment, the original sheldrake tournament that took place in 2019 lives on with the Sheldrake Classic, an annual tournament that takes place in the middle of the league's regular season.
